Stunning armchair in very good condition with no obvious stains or imperfections. All fabrics have been deep cleaned & steamed.
"Howard Keith Furniture or HK Furniture as it is now known has had a glorious history in British furniture design and manufacture since the 1940's when it was founded.
HK built a reputation for producing high quality upholstered furniture that was sold in prestigious department stores such as Harrods, Liberty’s and Heals. The company's chairs, such as the Encore, Viking, and Simplon, and lounge seating like the Diplomat, Kohinoor, Barbican and Cloud, solidified Howard Keith's status as one of the country's leading furniture designers of the mid 20th century.
Royal patrons such as Princess Margaret, celebrities and pop stars such as Elton John, embassies and exclusive hotels, and even the QE2 all took their delivery of Howard Keith furniture during the 60s, 70s and 80s.
In the late 20th century, HK expanded into high-end conference tables and executive desks and became renowned for its craftsmanship, quality, and design, winning contracts with major prestigious clients such as RMS QE2, The Bank of England, The Stock Exchange, Barclays Bank, and BP."
