Stunning coat stand with umbrella holder made in aluminium, metal & plastic. Produced for the Synthesis office furniture range for Italian Olivetti by Ettore Sottsass during the 1970s.
“The Ettore Sottsass Synthesis range, also known as Synthesis 45, was a comprehensive and modular office furniture system designed for Olivetti in the 1970s. The system was a radical and integrated approach to office design, featuring more than one hundred components, including desks, chairs, cabinets, and accessories. Key features included adjustable, interchangeable parts, and a distinctive aesthetic that combined neutral base colors with pops of vibrant color. “
The coat stand is In very good condition considering its age, few minor scratches & light pitting to lower edge of the base.
