Rare Large Space Age Reissued Aphelion TV by Stephen Foster C.2000 (1970)
This is the 2000s reissued version of the original iconic Space Age Aphelion TV from the early 1970s. This version was only made in a very limited run of 250 units and were retailed in UK for £2150 at the time of the early 2000s.
The TV is fitted with a Thomson 28" Colour CRT Television, which is fully functional both in terms of image & it's stereo Nicam audio (3+ working speakers in total inside the shell). At the back there's 3 cables wired from the inside one for power, one male Scart and one antennae cable.
The TV comes with no remote, however it can be fully controlled on the front right panel (Apparently it does work with a basic universal remote).
I've managed to run Apple TV & my Nintendo Switch on the TV with no isssues. Connected via the Scart cable using an adapter, which I will include in the purchase.
The Aphelion TV is in overall good condition, no apparent damage or marks that stand out. The TV could easily be upgraded with a new 4k screen & modern sound.
