De Sede DS-80 Patchwork Leather Modular Sofa / Daybed c.1970
Fantastic patchwork leather sofa from the Swiss manufacturer De Sede with a beautiful dark patina (famous for the DS-600 snake sofa released around the same time).
The DS-80 was designed in 1969 and produced during the 70s. It has a slatted wooden frame with 3 modular pieces consiting of a backrest and two armrests that can be used all at once or individually to change the look of the piece.
The Wooden frame has been fully restored and finished in a satin black. All leather has been cleaned, restored & protected for future use.
There's a few dry areas and stains, some small holes likely from a cat. Nothing that stands out heavily from the ordinary, considering the age of the sofa.
